The Time Machine

I had my reading group for teens yesterday. We discussed "The Time Machine" by H.G.Wells. It was a good discussion. I think everyone enjoyed the book. The next book we picked is "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. We had to talk Jonathon into reading it. At first he said he wouldn't read it. We told him that it is not a "girl" book. It is not just a children's book. And part of being in a reading group is reading books that normally wouldn't read. Sometimes after you read a book you decide that you didn't really like it and that's all right. Reading different things broadens your mind and exposes you to different things outside of your "norm." Anyway I think he will like the book once he gets started on it.
