These are dresses I made to fit an American Girl Doll or other 18" doll. They are made from satin leftover from dance revue costumes. The dark pink one is trimmed with lace and has a little cameo button. The light pink one is trimmed with ribbon with tiny little flowers. Both have velcro on the back to make getting it on and off easier.
This is a costume for a tap dance. They dance to "Goldilocks: Who's Been Sitting in My Chair." They wear it with a black leotard. Skirt, round collar, and bow for either the back or the side of the head.
This is the costume for a ballet dance. They dance to "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. It is worn over a black leotard. A purple skirt with green sequin braid on the waistband, flowers on the neckline of the leotard, and a flower headband.
This is a pirate costume for the 2014 dance revue. It is a ballet dance to "Yo Ho It's a Pirate's Life For Me." It is to be worn with a black leotard. It consists of a black and white striped satin skirt with red sequin braid on the waistband, a red triangular kerchief trimmed in red sequin braid to be worn around the neck, and a red sash trimmed with red sequin braid tied around the head.
