Little Girl's flower Headband

I did this this morning. The headband is wrapped with hot pink knitting ribbon. The flower is crocheted with 100% cotton yarn. I don't remember the brand. The pattern for the flower came from the book "Crochet Bouquet - Easy Designs for Dozens of Flowers" by Suzann Thompson.

Fan Scarf

I saw this scarf here http://sunshinescreations.vintagethreads.com/2010/12/boku-crochet-fan-scarf.html She got the pattern from a bookmark pattern. I did it with some fuzzy blue yarn that I had in my stash.

Coasters and napkins

The napkins are just square pieces of the same fabric which is hemmed.

White stripes prayer blanket

I haven't put any new pictures up in a while because I have been busy making dance revue costumes. But, I did manage to finish this white striped prayer blanket. It is knitted diagonally just like a washcloth. 12 rows of white then 2 rows of a different color. It is a prayer blanket for the St. Ann Sewing Seams of Faith.

Scarf, Hat, & Mittens

This set was done for a 9 year old girl for Christmas. The scarf and hat are crocheted and the mittens are knitted.

Waves Sock Yarn Scarf

This crocheted scarf is made with sock yarn from Enchanted Knoll Farm. It is 5 1/2" wide and 66" long. The pattern can be found here www.twistyarnshop.com/patterns/NancysWavesScarf.pdf
I used a size F crochet hook.

Flower Fun

The first picture is crocheted flowers and the second picture is felt flowers. It is fun making them. I like to put them on purses. They would also be really cute attached to a hat or a hair clip.

Neck Wrap

This is a crocheted scarf. The pattern can be found on naturallycaron.com. It is called the Champlain One Skein Neckwrap. I used Michael's Impeccable yarn and a vintage button. It didn't take long to make at all. Very warm and cozy.

Spiral Brim Hat

This is a knitted hat with a spiral brim. I got the pattern here: http://helpinghearts0.tripod.com/id7.html

I had a little problem with it. I cast on 80 stitches like the pattern says for the adult size. For the brim to make the spiral the pattern has to move over one stitch on each round. If you cast on 80 it will move over 2 stitches. You have to cast on a multiple of 6 plus or minus 1. So I did 79 stitches and it worked fine. If you want the spirals to go the other direction cast on 77 stitches. The only other problem I had is that 6 inches from the beginning to start decreasing is too short for an adult hat. I had to go 8 inches from the beginning before I started before I started to decrease. I used Red Heart Soft and size 8 needles.

Crochet Hooks

These are my crochet hooks. I have seven G hooks, and four H hooks. I steel hooks I have 4 size 10, and 4 size 5. As you can see I have all the rest of the sizes too. The really big ones and the tunisian hooks won't fit in this case.

Sock Yarn Scarf

This is a crocheted sock yarn scarf. It is done with sock yarn from Enchanted Knoll Farm. The color is called Big Sky. I used a Size F crochet hook. It is 6" wide and about 65" long. I used a stitch called the "Arch Stitch". I got the pattern for the stitch out of the Leisure Arts book "63 Easy-To-Crochet Pattern Stitches."

2 knitted scarves

These 2 scarves are knitted lengthwise. I used worsted weight yarn, probably Impeccable, Red Heart soft, or Vanna's Choice. I don't remember which. I donated them to the WWII museum.

Scarf

This is a knitted scarf made with 5 different yarns. They are black, white, and red. They are different textures, which results in a very interesting and soft scarf.

Saroyan Scarf

This is my newest scarf. The pattern is called the Saroyan. It was designed by Liz Abinante. I got the pattern from Ravelry. I used 2 skeins of Lion Brand Wool Ease. The color is called Autumn. It is difficult to see in the picture but one edge is straight and the other edge has a leaf pattern. It is narrow in each end and goes straight in the middle.

Knitted lapghan

This is a diagonal knitted lapghan that I will donate to the St. Ann Sewing Seams of Faith group. It is knitted with Michael's Impeccable Yarn in true gray, burgundy, and aran.

Bonnet, Booties, & Mittens

This is a baby set consisting of a crocheted bonnet, crocheted booties, and knitted mittens. All three are made with TLC Baby Yarn. The color is called Girlie Girl. The bonnet is my design. The booties are from a Leisure Arts booklet, Blankets & Booties. The mittens are a pattern off of the internet.

Round Ripple

This is a green and yellow round ripple Baby Afghan crocheted with Red Heart Baby Sport Pompadour yarn. I had started it a while back and put it aside to work on other stuff. I finally pulled it out and finished it.

Placemats

I made these placemats a long time ago. They are crocheted with 100% cotton yarn. I use them on the kitchen table all the time. They wash very well. The cotton yarn doesn't get fuzzy like acrylic yarn would after washing.

Earflap Hats

Keep the wind out of baby's ears! These earflap hats are crocheted with soft acrylic yarn. A tie under the chin to keep it snug. These are newborn - 6 months, 6 - 12 months, and 12 - 18 months. They can also be made for older kids and adults. Low price right now only $10 each.

Red Vestments

Here is Bryan wearing his red vestments. We both like the silver trim instead of gold on the front of the red. The red fleur-de-lis on the sleeves and bottom of the alb are really nice with the red chasuble. There is also a stole, which he is wearing but you can't see, a Chalice Veil, and a Burse that all match.

Crocheted Dish Cloths

I thought I would try making my crocheted dish cloths a little smaller than I used to. These are about 5 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. I think the smaller size will be very efficient. The colors I have right now are Hot purple, red, lt. blue, yellow, tangerine, psychedelic, mod green, purple, and hot pink. Just for now I am selling these for 4 for $5.

Prayer Blanket

This is a Prayer Blanket to be donated. Four of the squares are made with Tunisian Crochet. The other five are knitted. I did the Tunisian squares. I did not not do the knitted ones. They were given to me.

Hats and Mittens

These hats and mittens are knitted with 100% acrylic yarn. They should fit a 2 to 3 year old. These are probably for donation but I sell similar sets for $15.

This is a brown, orange, and yellow scarf knitted with 6 different yarns: No Boundries 100% polymide, Bernat Matrix, Size 10 cotton thread, Bernat Bamboo, Samba polyester yarn, and Caron Simply Soft. It is 4 1/2 inches wide and 70 inches long without the fringe. This scarf sells for $15.00.

Baby Sweater

This sweet little sweater is crocheted with soft 100% acrylic yarn. It should fit babies newborn to 3 months. It is machine washable. The cost is $20.00

Valentine Booties

These would be really cute for Valentine's Day. They are crocheted with 100% cotton size 10 thread. They are $12.00.

Evening Purse

This is a little evening bag I crocheted with Vanna's Glamour and lined with gold satin. There is a zipper on top.

Priest's Vestments

Okay, this is not crocheted or knitted but I did make it. The priest in the middle is my son wearing the rose-colored vestments that I made for him. The alb he is wearing underneath has red fleur-di-lis' cross stitched by hand all the way around. I put 12 around the bottom and 3 on each sleeve. The deacons are wearing the stoles that I made to match the vestments.

Earflap Hat

This is another crocheted earflap hat. The brim is ribbed so it fits a little more snuggly than the helmet-type hat. It is $12.00.

Scarf

This scarf is hand-knit from 5 different yarns. The different textures combine to make a unique scarf. It is 4 1/2 inches wide and 68 inches long without the fringe. It is $15.00.

This earflap hat is so cute. It can be made with stripes or solid color. It comes in sizes from newborn to adult. It sells for $8.00 - $12.00 depending on the size.

Hand Puppets

These are hand puppets I made for Gybsen last Christmas. The bear is knitted and the kitty cat and lion are crocheted. I like the kitty the best.

New born bonnet and mittens

This was made for a newborn. It is a crocheted bonnet and knitted thumbless mittens. It is made with TLC Baby yarn. There is a satin ribbon on the bonnet. This set sells for $12.00. To add baby booties made with matching yarn would bring the set up to $20.00. I can do these in other colors also.

Purses

I made 2 new purses. The pink one is small. It is 10 inches across and 6 inches tall. It is lined with pink daisy fabric. It has a button closure. the strap is about 26 1/2 inches long. It is the perfect size for a young girl or for anyone who likes small purses. I am selling it for $15.00. The other purse is 13 inches across and about 8 inches tall. The diameter os the handles is about 5 3/4 inches. It is lined with fabric that matches the outer purse: pink, off-white, and lt. green stripes. It is closed with a vintage button. I am selling this one for $20.00.

Pillows

Two new pillows. A granny square pillow and a flower pillow. I saw the flower pillow on Attic 24. She has the instructions here http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/blooming-flower-cushion.html . So colorful!

Another scarf

I made this scarf about two years ago. A friend had gotten the pattern from a magazine but it was only the chart and no written instructions. I followed the chart and wrote out the instructions for her. The first one I gave away as a gift. This is the second one.

Round ripple in progress

Right now I am working on a Round Ripple Baby Afghan. I am using yellow and green Red Heart Baby Sport Pompadour. I am using a G hook.

Flower Hats

These flower hats are so sweet! One is for an adult and the other would fit a child. The white and pink hat is made with Simply Soft. The flowers on the other hat is just leftover pieces from my stash. I don't remember where I got the pattern from.

Into the Wild Scarf

This is a crocheted scarf. The pattern is from the fall 2010 issue of Crochet! magazine. Nice scarf for a man. It would look good in any colors. I might do a red and blue Special Olympics scarf with this pattern. I just have to check the width and length to make sure it fits the requirements.

Pumpkin Hat

Pumpkin hat for my grandbaby who is due on October 26. My daughter is scheduled to have a C-section on that day. The orange yarn is Red Heart Soft and the green is Impeccable from Michaels.
